HELEN KARLOVICH SCHOLARSHIP
$55,850 dollars have been awarded to date! Yuma Youth Bowlers must submit an application to the Youth Committee by April 15th each year to be eligible for selection. (Download Application or on the forms page)
| Qualifications | Scholarship | Procedures |
| Nominee must be a sanctioned bowler | The amount will range in the amount of $250 to $1,000 dollars (based on funds available) to be paid to the school of choice. Funds may be used for tuition fees, books, or room & board. | Nominee must submit a completed application by April 15th of each year to the scholarship committee. |
| Nominee must be a graduating high school senior, currently attending a public university, private university, junior college, state college, technical school or trade school. | The funds will be available for up to two years after being awarded. If not used in that time, monies not used will revert back to the scholarship fund. | Nominees must write an essay to include information on one or more of the following subjects. The essay should be written in three hundred words or less. |
| If the recipient leaves school permanently, the unused balance will be returned to the scholarship fund. |
